Supplementary submission: Intelligence Oversight and Other Legislation Amendment (Integrity Measures) Bill 2020
On the 6 May 2021, the Law Council of Australia appearred before the Parliamentary Joint Committee on Intelligence and Security in relation to the public hearing on the Intelligence Oversight and Other Legislation Amendment (Intergirty Measures) Bill 2020.
The Law Council provided a supplementary submission addressing issues arising from the subsequent evidence of government agency officials, and the announcement of oversight-related funding measures in the 2021-22 Budget.
