National Legal Assistance Partnership Overview Paper
The submission to the Attorney-General’s Department in response to the National Legal Assistance Partnership (NLAP) Overview Paper (Overview Paper) was prepared by the Law Council.
The Overview Paper has picked up on a number of issues identified within the 2018 independent reviews of the National Partnership Agreement on Legal Assistance Services (NPA) and the Indigenous Legal Assistance Program (ILAP). There are, however, several issues the Law Council wishes to raise in the context of the proposed NLAP and as outlined in the Overview Paper.
