Draft Report on Mental Health
The submission to the Productivity Commission regarding its Draft Report on Mental Health was prepared by the Law Council.
In April 2019, the Law Council provided a submission on the Issues Paper, The Social and Economic Benefits of Improving Mental Health. In addition to reiterating the points raised in this earlier submission, the Law Council makes the following comments in relation to the Draft Report’s draft findings and recommendations on the justice system and access to justice, as well as the mental health and wellbeing of lawyers.
