Can the Law Council help me with legal research?
The Law Council is the peak body representing the interests of the legal profession at the national level. Unfortunately, we have neither the mandate nor the resources to assist members of the public or students with legal research.
There are a number of free, online databases that collect primary materials such as cases and legislation.
There are also websites that provide access to legal information in a form that is more user-friendly for non-lawyers.
