ILS International Law and Practice Course 2018 - Lecture 3 with Dr Wolfgang Babeck
This lecture will explore the essential differences between Australian law and the laws of civil law jurisdictions, which is the most prevalent legal system internationally.
The course will touch on aspects of:
- contract law
- commercial law
- civil procedural law
This event is a must for Australian students who would one day like to work internationally, but it will also provide guidance to international students who better want to understand Australian law in its international context.
The lecture will be delivered by Hon Adj Prof Dr h.c. Wolfgang Babeck, the Chair of the ILS and co-initiator of the ILS International Law and Practice Course, a commercial lawyer admitted in both a civil and a common law jurisdiction.
Dr Babeck will provide a thoroughly practical approach to the topic.
