Membership
Individual membership is available to the Law Council's specialist Sections.
The Sections provide the Directors, Executive and the Secretariat with advice and support on the legal profession's views to government and other relevant agencies on a wide range of legal and related issues. They also provide extensive educational, career development and networking opportunities for their members, including major conferences and specialised seminars. Some sections also publish a regular journal or newsletter to keep their members up to date on matters of professional interest and Section activities.
Commercial Discounts
The Law Council Sections also offer their members the following range of commercial discounts and corporate plan arrangements:
Qantas Club
Corporate member offer: Membership for a full year is $505.00, or $735 for two years (prices include GST and $230 joining fee). The normal cost of Qantas Club membership would be $775.00 for one year or $1,100 for two years (including GST and $370 joining fee), joining on an individual basis.
Hertz
Contract rates apply at all Hertz locations throughout Australia. Discounts also apply overseas.
Intercontinental Hotel Group

Joining a Law Council Section
Members of the Law Council of Australia's constituent bodies (the Bars and Law Societies) may join Law Council Sections. Persons not eligible to join a Bar or Law Society may be able to join a Law Council Section.
