Groups

The Section's specialist groups are responsible for the development of submissions and policy advice on behalf of the Law Council of Australia. Each Group's Committee is also responsible for the provision of services and benefits to members of its Special Interest Group.

The committees, and their special interest groups, are:

Special Interest Groups

Members of the Section are eligible to join any, or all of the Section's Special Interest Groups (listed above) at no further cost. By joining a Special Interest Group members receive additional benefits, including:

  • Group newsletters and information bulletins on the latest developments in your area of practice;
  • Invitations to attend 'Member Only' boardroom briefings on topical issues and developments in your area of practice; and
  • Invitations to attend high profile conferences.

In addition, members should soon have the opportunity to participate in online discussion groups and bulletin boards in their area of practice.
