Equal Opportunities in the Law

The Law Council of Australia is committed to principles of equality and to addressing equal opportunity issues in the Australian legal profession. The Law Council, through its specialised Committees and Working Groups, has developed a range of equal opportunity in the workplace policies for the legal profession, sought opportunities to promote the equal opportunity in the workplace initiatives on a national basis and conducted research on how to facilitate attitudinal and cultural change by and within the private legal profession.
