Australian Young Lawyer Award

The Australian Young Lawyer Award is conducted annually by the Australian Young Lawyers’ Committee (AYLC) and recognise excellence in young lawyers and young lawyer organisations.

The Award aims to encourage and foster Young Lawyer organisations to establish programs for the benefit and assistance of the profession and the community, and to recognise and reward the achievement and contributions of individual lawyers.

2011 Winner

Louisa Fitz-Gerald was awarded the 2011 Australian Young Lawyer Award in February 2011 for her work to establish a legal referral service for cancer patients in New South Wales. Please see the Law Council Media Release for further information.
