4 January 2010
I am looking forward to a busy and productive 2010 as the new President of the Law Council of Australia. I assumed the role on 1 January, taking over from John Corcoran, who served as President of the Law Council in 2009. A lot of excellent work has been done under John's leadership, and I congratulate him on the contribution he has made to the Law Council over the past twelve months.
2010 is going to be a challenging year for the Law Council, but I believe we are well-placed to achieve a great deal across a broad range of areas.
